Konstantinos Emmanouil Iliakis
Director of the Laboratory of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1959). He was the attending forensic examiner at the crime scene investigation of the double murder in Mikra. His report on the crime concluded —after blood found on the stones used to murder Raisis and Paliogianni was tested—that the blood did not belong to either of the victims, therefore it belonged to the killer, and that it was of blood group O Rh negative (-).
In 1964, he conducted a blood test which had been officially sent to him by order of the investigative magistrate Ioannis Kiousis, during the interrogations of Pagratidis for the "Dragon" crimes. The blood was taken from Pagratidis while he was already serving a sentence at the Yedi Kule prison (Eptapyrgio) for the assault he had committed at the Orphanage. Pagratidis' blood was identified by Iliakis as blood group O Rh positive (+). The relevant documents can be found in the book by Konstantinos Logothetis, *Pagratidis: Four Death Sentences...*
