Ioannis Chaleplis
The first in Greece to begin performing dangerous acrobatic stunts with a motorcycle in a wooden cylindrical structure, known as the "barrel" or "Roundabout of Death". He testified as a witness in the Dragon's trial (1966), confirming that Aristidis Pagratidis worked as an employee in his group from July to early September 1958. His name appears in the archive of the "Macedonia" newspaper of that time as "Chalépis"[2] (emphasis on the 'e') and in Kostas Tsarouhas’ book "The Dragon Who Escaped, Pagratidis case" as "Chalepís" (emphasis on the 'i').
